My Name is James Ravenscroft and I am a Student living in Shropshire, United Kingdom. I’m your average nerd and generally spend my time playing my saxophone, guitar or programming on my computer.
I’m also quite a sociable nerd and have an amazing group of friends called “The Posse” who I often hand around with (see below).
I live in quite a small town so there isn’t much to be done except for the old trek across the wilderness with the sheep. Therefore, I reverted to nerdiness.I write in all sorts of programming languages like C++, PHP, Python and C#. (Pretty much in preference order) and am working on several projects as I write.
My other big hobby is music - listening and performing. I play both the alto and tenor saxophone whilst juggling my Freshman Acoustic and LAG Jet Electric guitars. Music is probably one of the most important things around and I pride myself on my knowledge of it. I love any sort of music as long as the artist demonstrates talent. Rock, Pop, Rap, Trance… It doesn’t matter.
I am quite opinionated in many ways and feel very strongly about many political and controversial areas from the demise of society to the relevance of Open Source software.
